Greg and Cindy Amaral spent three months visiting 17 countries for their honeymoon 17 years ago. On February 1, they board a plane in San Francisco and begin a six month sojourn during which they will set foot in over twenty countries on five continents.

But this time, they're taking their four kids and one very lucky tutor.

This site will chronicle their global junket from February 1 through July 31, 2003 as they traipse through the jungles of the Amazon, hike the magnificent peaks of Machu Picchu, wonder at the Galapagos Islands, safari on the plains of Kenya, explore the Australian bush, experience exotic Asian islands.... and countless other adventures around the world.

And—uniquely—this site will share the perspectives of three generations traveling together to experience the earth.
